User Agreement

Introduction

UNMO (United Movement) is operated by Unmo AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Duni AB (“Duni”). Duni is the parent company of the Duni Group, hereinafter referred to as the “Duni Group.” The term “Duni Group” shall be deemed to include both current and future subsidiaries of Duni.

Our Agreement

These terms of use govern your access to and use of all websites, apps, technologies, widgets, APIs, or features owned, operated, branded, or offered by UNMO, except where we expressly state that separate terms apply.
By registering and creating an account on Unmo, or otherwise using our services, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Unmo AB. If you use our services on behalf of a company, you are responsible for ensuring that you are duly authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of the company.
If you do not accept this User Agreement (the “User Agreement” or the “Agreement”), you must not create an account or otherwise use any of the services we provide. You may terminate this agreement at any time, most effectively by closing your account and refraining from using our services.

The User Agreement applies to all services provided on Unmo’s website, in our app, or other Unmo-related sites (the “Services”) and covers all data collection related to the Services. Registered users of the Services are referred to as “Members,” and unregistered users are referred to as “Visitors.” Visitors may only use certain Unmo features. Unmo AB also offers paid services to companies. Users of these services are referred to as “Paying Members” or simply “Members,” as applicable. The User Agreement applies to both Members and Visitors, as relevant.

Unmo AB is the data controller for the personal data you provide in connection with the Services, or that is collected by, for, or processed in relation to the provision of our Services. Information about how we process your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies is described in our Cookie Policy.
Unmo AB may, when necessary, amend the User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. Significant changes will be communicated via the website so that you can review them before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you may close your account. If you continue to use the Services after we have published the changes, it means you have accepted the amended terms.

Your Obligations

Service Eligibility

To access and use the Services, you accept and confirm:

that you only have one (1) account on Unmo.
that you use your real name when registering your account.
that you have not been banned from using the Services; and
that you are at least 16 years old.

Your Account

We draw your attention to the fact that it is a violation of this Agreement to create an account with false or misleading information. This includes creating accounts on behalf of others, for people under 16 years of age, and for people banned from the Services.
If you have registered an account and become a Member or Paying Member, you are responsible for your account and its use. You therefore agree:

to create and use a secure, personal password that you store safely and do not share with others.
to always comply with applicable laws and regulations as well as Unmo’s rules and policies for the website.
to immediately notify Unmo if you suspect that someone has gained unauthorized access to your account.

Payment

If you purchase any of Unmo AB’s paid Services, you agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes and accept the terms that specifically apply to those paid Services.
Unpaid fees will result in termination of the paid Services.

Notifications

By using the Services, you agree that we may send notifications to you through the website, our app, or to the contact information you have provided, such as your email address, phone number, and physical address. You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date.

Sharing Content, etc.

The Services enable you to share information with Visitors and for Members to send messages to other Members. You can, for example, share your created profile, your own and others’ posts, articles you have written, and links to news articles.
You agree that Unmo AB has access to and the right to store, process, and use content, including personal data, that you share with us in accordance with this Agreement and the terms of Unmo AB’s applicable Privacy Policy.

You agree and warrant that you will only share content or information that does not violate laws or regulations or infringe on the rights of others (including intellectual property rights). You also warrant that you will only provide accurate and complete information in your profile. Unmo AB reserves the right, without prior notice, to remove content we deem to violate this Agreement, our policies, or applicable laws and regulations.

The content you share, or post may be visible to other Members and Visitors, and you are responsible for what you share (even if it was written by someone else). We will respect your settings regarding the visibility of the content you share to the extent possible.
Unmo has no obligation to publish any information or material on our website or in our app, and we reserve the right to remove information or material we deem to violate laws, regulations, or our guidelines, without prior notice.

Rights to Your Content, etc.

In relation to Unmo, you are the owner of the content and information you share via the Services. By this Agreement, you grant Unmo AB and other companies in the Duni Group a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable license, without compensation to you, to use, copy, modify (but not change or distort the meaning of what you have written), distribute, publish, and otherwise process content you provide through the Services. Such use may take place without further consent from you. Unmo’s right to use the content is limited as follows:

Unmo will not use content you share as part of marketing Duni Group or others’ goods and services without your explicit permission. However, we have the right, without special permission from you and without compensation, to place ads in direct connection to content you have shared. This also includes Unmo’s own marketing of the Services.
You may revoke the above license by deleting the material you have shared with Unmo or by closing your account with us, unless you have shared the material with others through the Services and they have copied, stored, or shared the material with others in turn. You also accept that content you delete may remain in Unmo’s systems for a short period after you have removed it, as part of backup systems.
If we wish to give others the right to publish your content outside of the Services, we will ask for your permission first. If you choose to make your post publicly available, we may enable other Members to embed your post on third-party services and allow search engines to display the publicly available content. Note that search engines and third-party services are subject to their own terms, which Unmo cannot control.
We may use content and information you share with us to suggest contacts and content we believe may be of interest to you.
If you submit suggestions and feedback to Unmo, you agree that we may freely use your feedback without prior notice or compensation.

Access and Use of Services

Unmo reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to change, limit, or entirely discontinue the Services. For Services we charge for, we reserve the right to change prices with 30 days’ notice.
Unmo does not guarantee that we will store or continue to provide content you have shared via the Services. You accept that Unmo has no obligation to store or provide a copy of any content you share, except when required by law or our Privacy Policy.
Unmo reserves the right to limit a Member’s use of the Services, including the number of contacts and the Member’s ability to contact other Members. Unmo also reserves the right to limit, disable, or terminate a Member’s account if the Member violates the User Agreement, laws, or misuses the Services.

Unmo generally does not review content shared by our Members. We therefore accept no responsibility for content or information not originating from us. You may encounter content that is incorrect, incomplete, misleading, offensive, harmful, or even illegal. We do our best to prevent misuse, but we cannot always prevent it. You accept that we cannot be held liable for such misuse. If you see content that violates the Agreement, our policies, or the law, we ask that you notify us immediately so we can act. We share a responsibility to keep Unmo a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space.

Unmo may enable Members offering services to connect with Members and Visitors seeking services. However, Unmo cannot monitor, or control offers or performance of such services. You accept that Unmo is not responsible for offers, performance, or mediation of such services, and that Unmo does not recommend any Member’s own services. If you as a Member offer services, you confirm that you or the company you represent have all necessary permits, licenses, or certifications required to offer the service and that the service complies with this Agreement, our policies, and applicable laws.

If a Member organizes an event using the Services, that Member is responsible for the event. Unmo does not review or investigate such events and is therefore not responsible for the actions of Members or other participants at such events. Members and Visitors are responsible for complying with the rules set by the organizing Member.

Code of Conduct

You agree and confirm that when using the Services, you will:

comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to intellectual property laws, marketing laws and practices, tax laws, anti-discrimination laws, and privacy laws.
provide accurate and complete information about yourself and/or the company you represent and keep this information updated.
use the Services in a proper and professional manner.

You warrant that you will not:

create a false or misleading user profile on Unmo.
create a user profile for anyone other than yourself or a company you are legally authorized to represent.
use or attempt to use another Member’s account.
directly or indirectly copy, use, or distribute information from the Services without Unmo’s prior written consent.
discriminate against or harass any Member or Visitor based on race, religion, color, gender, marital status, family status, national or ethnic origin, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, source of income, trade union or political affiliation, or any other basis.
develop, support, or use software, devices, scripts, robots, or other means or methods to scrape the Services or otherwise copy user profiles and/or data from the Services.
disclose information you are not authorized to disclose (e.g., confidential information about others or trade secrets);
infringe or attempt to infringe on another’s intellectual property rights, for example by copying or distributing another Member’s posts or content without permission.
infringe or attempt to infringe on Unmo’s intellectual property rights or other rights.
disable, circumvent, or attempt to disable or circumvent security features in the Services.
share content containing viruses, worms, or other harmful code.
reverse engineer, decompile, decipher, or otherwise attempt to access the source code of the Services.
deep-link to the Services for purposes other than promoting your user profile.
use fully or partly automated methods to access the Services, e.g., to add or download profiles and/or use messaging functions.
conduct staffing/recruitment activities except through advertising on the website; or
use the Services to directly or indirectly conduct or promote illegal activities.

Intellectual Property

Unmo AB retains all intellectual property rights to the Services. All trademarks, trade names, and logos used in connection with the Services belong to their respective owners. The Unmo trademark, company name Unmo AB, associated logos, and all other marks used for the Services and website belong to Unmo AB.

Content Moderation and Reporting Process

We are committed to providing a safe platform and complying with the requirements of the Digital Services Act (DSA). We have clear internal processes to review and handle content that may violate our terms or applicable law.
Users can easily report inappropriate or illegal content via our reporting function at https://www.unmo.se/contact and “Report Content.”
All reports are processed promptly, within 24 business hours, and we provide reasons for all decisions made. Both the reporter and the affected party are informed of the outcome and may appeal by replying to the decision email.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Unmo AB and other companies in the Duni Group make no representations or guarantees that the Services will operate without interruptions, errors, or disturbances. The Services, including content created by Members and others, are provided “as is.” Unmo AB and the Duni Group disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of title, copyright protection, accuracy, or suitability of the Services for a particular purpose.

Unmo AB and the Duni Group cannot be held liable for lost profits or business opportunities, goodwill, lost data, use, or modifications to a Member’s information, or other related indirect damages. To the extent that Unmo AB, Duni AB, or any company in the Duni Group is liable to pay damages, such damages shall be limited to an amount of EUR 1,000.

Termination of Agreement

This User Agreement may be terminated at any time by either party notifying the other. Once terminated, the Member no longer has the right to use the Services. The following provisions shall survive termination:

Unmo AB’s and the Duni Group’s rights to use your feedback.
Other Members’ and Visitors’ rights to continue sharing content and information shared via the Services.
The provisions on Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability.
All property owned by either party before termination remains with that party.

You agree that after termination, your account and the content and information you shared via the Services will be stored for six months. After six months, your profile and shared content will be deleted, except where otherwise stated in this Agreement, required by law, or our Privacy Policy. If you reactivate your membership within six months, you will regain access to your previous account.

Our Paid Services

Scope and Priority

These special terms apply to users of our paid services and complement the general terms of the User Agreement, which apply to all Members and Visitors as relevant, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. In case of conflict, these special terms prevail.

Our paid services are only available to restaurants, companies, suppliers, and other organizations. When you use the services on behalf of a company, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to represent the company, enter into agreements, and bind it to the terms. Unmo AB may hold you personally liable for your company’s violations of the agreement. “You,” “your,” and “yours” also refer to the company in these cases.

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, industry rules, and authority requirements, including the GDPR, and for ensuring proper and secure handling of personal data when using the services. Information obtained via our paid services may only be shared with people acting on your behalf and must be used in accordance with these terms and applicable law. Information may not be resold and must only be used internally.

Scope of Services

When purchasing paid services, you gain access to extended functionality in one or more of the following areas:

Branding
Job advertising
Networking and marketing
Sustainability development

Special Terms for Recruitment Services

In addition to the limitations stated in the User Agreement, you confirm that you will not, personally or via third parties:

Create job postings without genuine intent to hire.
Provide false or misleading information about the job or company.
Recruit by deliberately misrepresenting the job.
Publish advertisements for business opportunities or similar requiring payment, recruitment of others, or mimicking franchises, multi-level marketing (MLM), club memberships, or distribution models, especially if compensation is partly or fully commission based.
Create job postings that require candidates to pay to be hired, or in violation of laws, require candidates to pay for something related to the employment.
Share candidates’ identifiable CVs, applications, or other related data with third parties.
Contact applicants for purposes unrelated to the relevant job.
Contact applicants after they have requested not to be contacted.

Failure to clearly indicate if a job concern freelance, part-time, commission, or other non-standard forms of work or compensation may be considered misleading.

Special Terms for Marketing Services

When using paid services for marketing, advertising, or other visibility services, the following also applies:

Marketing Content

All marketing must be lawful, accurate, and not misleading, and comply with applicable marketing laws. You are responsible for ensuring that content is appropriate for members under 18 and that no prohibited marketing is directed at minors.
Material must not contain discriminatory, offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content.
Claims about products or services must be substantiated and comply with applicable marketing laws and industry practices.

Use of Data

Data obtained through our services may only be used for the intended purpose of the service and may not be resold or shared with third parties without Unmo AB’s written consent.
When processing personal data, you as the user are responsible for fulfilling applicable GDPR requirements.

Prohibited Methods

Spam, mass messaging, or automated contact attempts are not allowed.
Aggressive sales methods or undue influence are prohibited.

Suspension for Breach

In case of violation of these terms, Unmo AB may immediately suspend access to the services and/or terminate the agreement without refund.

Payment, Fees, and Offers

Unmo uses third-party solutions to handle payments for their services.
If you purchase any of our paid services, you will be automatically charged at the beginning of each new period for the fees and taxes applicable to that period. You agree to pay applicable fees and taxes and to ensure all required payment information is correct and updated in time for each billing. To avoid future charges, you must cancel paid services you subscribe to before the new period begins and the next payment is processed.

Termination of Paid Services

You may terminate paid services by notifying us.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

In addition to the disclaimers and limitations of liability in the User Agreement, Unmo and the Duni Group make no representations or guarantees regarding the accuracy of a Member’s or Visitor’s application, job posting, advertisement, CV, identity, recommendations, contacts, or references.

Regardless of whether Unmo reviews or approves any post, you agree to indemnify Unmo AB or any other company in the Duni Group against damages, losses, and costs related to third-party claims or legal actions arising from or related to your posts, your use of our paid services, any hiring decisions, and/or breaches of the specific terms of the Agreement.

Disputes

In the event of a dispute between the parties to this Agreement, unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the dispute shall be settled in Swedish general courts, with Malmö District Court as the first instance, and under Swedish substantive law.
