— Unmo is a digital platform that connects people in the restaurant industry. At Unmo, we want to make it easier for restaurants and employees in the industry to be visible, build relationships, network, recruit and find jobs.

— Unmo is based on insights and feedback we have received from people working in the industry. We have heard stories about the difficulties of recruiting and retaining good people, but also about the lack of a common gathering place to meet and lean on. There are plenty of staffing companies and new gig businesses are emerging more and more often. But we saw that there was a lack of a platform that wanted to make the industry visible at large, that wanted to create opportunities for individuals and companies to grow, and that thought both long-term and sustainably.

But by joining forces and supporting what we collectively believe in - a modern, safe and joyful restaurant industry, we are at least one step closer. — On Unmo there are only people from the industry. In other words, you only recruit relevant staff, unlike other sites. When you register a restaurant, you get your own page where you can profile yourself, be visible in your area and reach out to relevant candidates. There are three ways to recruit staff on Unmo:

1. Open application
Just by being on Unmo, you open up opportunities to find good staff. Through spontaneous application, candidates can spontaneously contact you, the digital version of "knocking on the door". In your inbox you will receive a message and a link to the candidate's profile (CV). But remember, keep your profile updated so that it is attractive to candidates!

2. Ads
You can also post job ads and manage applications easily and smoothly. 10 ads are included in the registration and you can then purchase more if you want. In that case, contact hello@unmo.se for more information.

3. Network!

You can also network with others in the community; owners, chefs, wait staff, etc. and start building your following of future colleagues and partners. Just search for roles and people on Unmo to find the right fit for you!

— If you register a private profile, you will get your own page where you can profile yourself for employers and others in the industry. You choose how visible you want to be and who can contact you. You can use your profile to apply for jobs that interest you and start networking with different players in the industry. No complicated CVs, just your profile and a personal greeting!

You can either apply for jobs via advertisements or even better, find the restaurants that seem interesting and send a Spontaneous Application! Most restaurants are always looking for people, in the end you will surely get a job🤩
