Unmo AB always protects the privacy and integrity of individuals who visit our website. All individuals whose personal data are processed by Unmo AB can be sure that their personal integrity is respected and that their personal data is processed with due care. Our goal is to always be as open and transparent as possible with how we collect and use the information you entrust us with.

Unmo’s processing of your personal data

When you visit our website, we collect certain personal data from you. This happens, for example, when you register an account with us and become a "Member" or when you register to subscribe to our newsletter. You can also visit our website anonymously as a "Visitor". Examples of personal data that are processed are name, date of birth and e-mail address.

When you register a user account

When you register a user account on this website or in our app, we process the following personal data about you.

  • Name (Given name and surname)
  • E-mail address
  • Date of birth
  • Photo
  • Password (that you create yourself)
  • IP-address

We may also process other type of personal information that you provide in free-text or similarly.

Personal data that you provide when registering a user account is processed with the following purpose:

  1. to be able to provide you with the services and information that you want to access on the website,
  2. to manage financial transactions,
  3. to personalize you experience on our website,

When you subscribe to our newsletter

We process your personal data when you subscribe to our newsletter. The data that is collected is your email address. The processing is necessary to administrate your subscription and send you the newsletter. The legal basis for this processing is your consent. You can withdraw your consent by cancelling your subscription.

Marketing

We may also process your personal data for marketing purposes such as sending you direct e-mails. The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest.

Your rights

When we process your personal information, you have a number of rights according to the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can, at any time, contact us if you wish to practice these rights. Right of access

You have the right to know which of your personal data we process. If you wish to know this you can request a compiled register extract that contains the personal data we process together with detailed information.

Right to rectification and deletion

If we process personal data about you that is inaccurate or if we no longer need to process your data you can request to have the data corrected or deleted. If the data we have is incomplete you can request to have it corrected. In some instances, your right to deletion might be limited, for example if we have a legal obligation to retain the data.

Right to data portability

In some instances, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, where the processing is based on your consent or on an agreement between us.

Right to restriction of processing

Under some circumstances you have the right to request that we limit our processing of your personal information. This means that we mark the information so that we will only continue processing for certain purposes.

Right to object

You have the right to object to our processing of your data that we process on the legal basis legitimate interest.

Complaints

You have the right to file complaints with the Data Protection Authority if you think we have processed your data incorrectly. The relevant authority is Integritetskyddsmyndigheten (IMY) in Sweden.

How we protect your data

Unmo takes necessary security measures to protect your data. When you submit information through the website, the information is protected both online and offline. We use encryption to protect information transmitted online, but we also protect your data offline. Access to personal data is only given to employees who need access to the information to perform a certain task. Computers and servers where we store personally identifiable information are located in a secure environment. Our security systems are developed with your privacy in focus and to a very high degree protect the data against intrusion, destruction and other changes that may pose a risk to your privacy.

How long we retain the information we collect

In general, we do not retain personal data longer than necessary. If you create a user account with us, we will, as a starting point, process your personal data until you close the account, whereby your personal data will be deleted. After you delete your account, however, we will save your personal data for six months, in case you wish to recreate your account.

You can contact us directly at gdpr@unmo.se if you want us to manually delete your personal data. If you account has been inactive for a longer period of time we will contact you to make sure you wish to keep your account.

Note that in some instances we may have a legal obligation to retain certain personal data, for example if they are processed due to a financial transaction between us and we are legally obliged to retain the information for our accounting records. In such cases we will retain the data for as long as we are legally obliged.

Will we share your personal data with others?

We may share your personal data with others within the Duni Group and with our service providers and partners that we use to provide our website. If we share personal data with anyone, it is only done in a way that is reasonably necessary for them to be able to perform their tasks for us and all recipients are obliged to not disclose or use the data for any purpose other than this. We also ensure that recipients protect the information in the same way as we do, and we always set the same high demands on recipients as we do on ourselves.

If we share your personal information the legal basis for this is either your consent, if we have obtained it, or to fulfil the agreement between us when you have signed up to use our services.

Where we process your personal data

We always strive to process your personal data within the EU/EEA. If your data is processed outside the EU/EEA, for example by one of our service providers, we ensure that all necessary protective measures are taken so that the recipients process the data in the same safe way as we do ourselves and as required by the data protection regulation.

The same applies if we share your data to recipients outside the EU/EEA. Then we make sure that the recipient has taken the necessary protective measures and that they process personal data in the same safe way as we do ourselves, and as required by the data protection regulation.
