Chelas brings true, traditional Mexican food to the heart of Stockholm, served by a passionate international team dedicated to delivering an authentic dining experience. We are looking for a motivated Chef to join our dynamic and international kitchen team as soon as possible.

Key Responsabilities

• Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our recipes and standards. Ensure all food is presented consistently and ready for service on time.

• Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift. Follow proper food storage procedures to ensure freshness, minimize waste, and maintain hygiene standards.

• Quality and Efficiency: Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and food safety. Contribute to smooth kitchen operations during both preparation and service.

• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service. Communicate clearly during busy periods and report any issues with ingredients, equipment, or kitchen operations promptly. Be willing to assist in different sections of the kitchen as needed and support the team to maintain a smooth and efficient service.

• Cleaning and Food Safety: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Keep kitchen equipment and work areas clean and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Are you the person we are looking for?

• Experience: Minimum of two years' experience as a Chef, Line Cook, or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Culinary Knowledge: Experience with Mexican cuisine is a strong advantage, but a passion for learning and developing new skills is equally valued.

• Work Ethic: Reliable, organized, and able to perform well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

• Team Player: Positive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment.

• Language: Fluency in English is required. Spanish language skills are a plus.
